Kirkland Represents Resonetics on $900 Million Acquisition of SAES Medical Nitinol Business
Kirkland & Ellis advised Resonetics, a pioneer in advanced engineering, product development, prototyping and manufacturing solutions for the life sciences industry, on its acquisition of Memry Corporation and SAES Smart Materials, Inc. from SAES Getters S.p.A, Milan, Italy, for $900 million. Resonetics is backed by funds managed by global investment firm Carlyle and leading private equity firm GTCR. The transaction is expected to close in 2023, subject to the receipt of required regulatory clearances and approvals and the satisfaction of other closing conditions.
