Kirkland Counsels Sylvamo on Cooperation Agreement with Atlas Holdings
Kirkland & Ellis advised Sylvamo (NYSE: SLVM), the world's paper company with mills in Europe, Latin America and North America, on a cooperation agreement with Atlas Holdings, its largest shareowner. As part of the agreement, Sylvamo will add two new independent directors to its board and Atlas agreed to certain standstill and voting commitments.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Sarkis Jebejian, Shaun Mathew and Steven Li; and capital markets partners Bob Hayward, Cot Eversole and Katie Holahan.
