Kirkland Represents Renesas on $2B Supply Agreement with Wolfspeed

Kirkland & Ellis advised semiconductor supplier Renesas Electronics Corp. (TSE: 6723) on a supply agreement with chipmaker Wolfspeed Inc. (NYSE: WOLF), which will allow Renesas to secure a 10-year supply commitment of silicon carbide bare and epitaxial wafers from Wolfspeed. As part of the agreement, Renesas provided a $2 billion deposit.
