Kirkland Advises Compañia Minera del Pacífico S.A. on Export Credit Facility to Support Export Operations
Kirkland & Ellis advised Compañia Minera del Pacífico S.A. (CMP) in connection with an export prepayment facility to support CMP’s export operations. CMP is the primary mining subsidiary of CAP S.A., Chile’s largest steel producer and the leading iron ore and pellet producer in the American Pacific Rim. CMP will have the flexibility to request loan disbursements from the uncapped facility on an as-needed basis to support its current and future export operations.
The Kirkland team was led by debt finance partners Linda Zang, Greg Howling, Jacqueline Trudeau and Roald Nashi and associate Klugy Mathurin.
