Kirkland Represents iMotion Automotive Technology on Hong Kong IPO
Kirkland & Ellis represented iMotion Automotive Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (“iMotion”) (HKSE: 1274) on the initial public offering of H shares and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited, Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited and CCB International Capital Limited acted as the joint sponsors and sponsor-overall coordinators.
As the first company specializing in autonomous driving listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, established in 2016, iMotion is an autonomous driving solution provider with a focus on AD domain controllers. The global offering of iMotion has attracted a number of cornerstone investors, including Zhejiang Qixin, SIP Industrial Investment Fund, SilkyWater Absolute Return and Harvest Fund with an aggregate investment amount of $67 million.
