Kirkland Advises Reverence Capital Partners on $200 Million Investment in New York Community Bancorp
Kirkland & Ellis counseled Reverence Capital Partners on its decision to invest $200 million in New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: NYCB), along with investments from Liberty Strategic Capital, funds managed by Hudson Bay Capital Management, Citadel Global Equities, other institutional investors and certain members of the company's management. The total equity investment in NYCB is over $1 billion.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Mark Fennell and Kevin Mausert; capital markets partner Ross Leff; banking regulatory partner Edwin del Hierro; and tax partner Polina Liberman.
