Leading Technology & IP Transactions Lawyer André Duminy Joins Kirkland & Ellis
Kirkland & Ellis is excited to announce that André Duminy has joined the Firm as a partner in the Technology & IP Transactions practice.

Mr. Duminy’s practice has a particular focus on technology and business separation matters and complex multi-vendor and multi-jurisdictional carve-out transactions. He brings experience across sectors including financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, technology, oil and gas, manufacturing, and consumer goods and retail.
“André’s skill set strongly supports our private equity and financial sponsor clients’ investments across relevant asset classes,” said Matthew Elliott, member of Kirkland’s Executive Committee and corporate partner. “His hire will help spearhead the development of the London Technology & IP Transactions practice as our transactional offering continues to evolve and drive growth opportunities.”
Mr. Duminy was previously a partner with Clifford Chance.
Kirkland’s Technology & IP Transactions practice focuses on business transactions driven by intangible assets, technological assets and attendant intellectual property rights. The practice has been a part of Kirkland for more than 40 years and includes a global team of 90 lawyers fully dedicated to negotiating, structuring and closing complex transactions relating to technology and IP.
