Tax Partner Rodney Hill Joins Kirkland & Ellis

Kirkland & Ellis announced today that Rodney Hill has joined the Firm as a partner in the Tax Practice Group.

Mr. Hill advises on the tax aspects of transactions, with a particular focus on investment fund formation and mergers and acquisitions involving investment fund sponsors.

Mr. Hill’s experience includes the structuring and formation of private equity funds, hedge funds, funds-of-funds and separate accounts across alternative asset classes, including buyout, growth, venture, infrastructure, renewable energy, credit and real estate. He also represents fund clients in acquiring interests in alternative asset managers and other corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Mr. Hill was a partner at Fried Frank. He holds a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a master’s degree from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware.
