Kirkland & Ellis represented Pearl Energy Investments on the close of Pearl Energy Investments, IV L.P. with total commitments of $999.9 million. The fund reached its hard cap within four months of launch and was significantly oversubscribed. Pearl provides investment capital and sponsorship to the energy industry, concentrating on the upstream and midstream sectors, and typically focuses on investments requiring between $50 million and $150 million of equity capital.
