Creating Trial-Ready Lawyers

Jim Basile, Amarto Bhattacharyya, Terence McCarrick and Katie Lencioni shared their perspectives on the Kirkland Institute of Trial Advocacy (KITA) program, a Firmwide trial advocacy and litigation training program, with fivehundred magazine. Now in its 41st year, KITA is the largest, most comprehensive litigation training program at any firm. Emphasizing core trial skills and getting progressively more complex as associates advance, the program prepares associates for all a courtroom can throw at them.
