• Thoma Bravo, a leading software investment firm, on its strategic growth investment in Circle Cardiovascular Imaging Inc., a provider of A.I.-based software solutions for medical imaging.
• Vista Equity Partners in its investment in Assent Compliance Inc. (Assent Inc.), a provider of sustainable supply chain management software and services solutions.
• Mosaik Partners in its strategic investment in Azimuth GRC, a regulatory compliance management software provider.
• CIVC Partners, a business services-focused private equity firm, in its acquisition of Datavail Corp., a data managed services provider.
• Ares Management-backed CoolSys, Inc. in its acquisitions of certain HVAC-R companies, including:
  • Lima Company
  • Triangle Refrigeration Co.
• Ares Management-backed CoolSys, Inc. in general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Kelly’s representative transactions have included:

• Data Foundry, Inc., a data center colocation services provider, in its sale to Switch, Inc., a global technology infrastructure company, for $420 million in an all cash transaction.
• Asuragen, Inc., a molecular diagnostics company, in its sale to Bio-Techne Corporation, a life sciences company, for initial consideration of $215 million in cash plus contingent consideration of up to $105 million upon achievement of certain milestones.
• Blackstone Infrastructure Partners L.P., Blackstone’s infrastructure fund, in its two-step acquisition of Tallgrass Energy, LP, an energy infrastructure company:
  • Acquisition of 100% of the membership interests in Tallgrass Energy, LP's general partner and an approximately 44% economic interest in Tallgrass Energy, LP for approximately $3.3 billion in cash.
  • Take-private of Tallgrass Energy, LP for $22.45 in cash per publicly held outstanding Class A share.
• Ares Management-backed CoolSys, Inc. in its acquisitions of certain HVAC-R companies, including:

• EnCap Investments L.P., an energy-focused venture capital firm, in its formation of EnCap Energy Transition Fund I, a fund focusing on lower-carbon and renewable energy, with total commitments of approximately $1.2 billion.
