Jason Krause is a partner in the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a member of the Firm's Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. He focuses primarily on the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies in all aspects of their businesses, including structuring and negotiating various strategic and leveraged acquisitions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, minority investments, corporate governance and other general corporate matters.
Jason has represented private equity funds and their portfolio companies in both domestic and cross-border transactions ranging in size from several million dollars to billions of dollars. His practice covers a wide range of industries, including technology, manufacturing, transportation, retail, marketing and professional services.
