Overview

Adam D. Phillips is a founding partner of the Firm’s corporate practice in Silicon Valley, a member of Kirkland’s Private Equity Practice Group and a leader in its growth equity practice.

Adam’s practice is focused on acquisitions and investments for a number of the leading technology-focused buyout and growth equity funds in Silicon Valley and representations of their portfolio companies in a variety of corporate and securities matters.

In addition to his tenure at Kirkland, Adam spent 13 years in the corporate sector as both an in-house counsel and a senior M&A executive for private and public companies. He further serves as an adjunct professor at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where he teaches private equity transactions.
