Overview

Jack P. Rossman is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a member of the Firm's industry-leading Strategic GP Advisory Practice Group. Jack’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, structured equity transactions, control sale transactions, recapitalizations, restructurings and other transactions involving public and private investment management firms, broker-dealers and related businesses. In addition, Jack advises both investors and firms in GP stakes and other minority investment transactions. As part of his strategic GP advisory practice, Jack provides guidance to clients on structuring complex incentive compensation and equity ownership arrangements for principals of investment management firms.

Jack has advised on U.S. and cross-border transactions with an aggregate value of over $100 billion in announced deals, including several of the largest transactions in the asset management and financial services industries over the past decade.
