Kirkland Advises Walton Street Capital on Sale of Mexico Platform

Kirkland & Ellis is advising Walton Street Capital on the sale of Walton Street Mexico, its Mexico-based real estate asset management platform with US$2.1 billion in assets under management (as of June 30, 2024), to Ares Management. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
