- EQT Corporation (NYSE: EQT) in its $8.8 billion midstream joint venture with Blackstone Credit & Insurance
- SCF Partners in its acquisition of Flowchem, Val-Tex and Sealweld from Entegris Inc.
- Fengate Private Equity in its acquisition of Saco Foods Holdings, LLC from Benford Capital Partners
- BlackRock Inc. (NYSE: BLK) in its $550 million equity investment in 1PointFive Stratos Holdings, LLC, a newly formed joint venture with Occidental Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: OXY) to develop STRATOS, the world's largest Direct Air Capture facility, in Ector County, Texas
- Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. (NYSE: KGS) in its $256 million initial public offering
- EIV Capital in its equity commitment to Intensity Infrastructure Partners LLC, a growth-oriented energy infrastructure company focused on acquiring and developing midstream infrastructure
- Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. in its $30 billion joint venture with Intel Corporation to fund Intel’s under-construction semiconductor fabrication facility in Chandler, Arizona
- Warburg Pincus, as lead investor, in the $320 million line of equity commitment for Viridi Energy, a full-service renewable natural gas (RNG) platform
- Vista Equity Partners, in numerous transactions, including:

- Omega Protein in its $500 million sale to Cooke, a global seafood company based in Canada
- Focus Financial Partners in the acquisition of SCS Capital Management, an independent registered investment advisory firm with $16.5 billion in regulatory assets under management
- SCF Partners in multiple investments in energy services and equipment industry provider

- SCF Partners in its investment in Hi-Tech Industrial Services, provider of integrated specialty services to the downstream energy, infrastructure and industrial markets
- SCF Partners in its acquisition of BCCK Holding Company, an international natural gas engineering company specializing in nitrogen rejection
- SCF Partners in the combination of Beckman Production Services and Nine Energy Services, provider of completion tools and services to support the development of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Riverstone Holdings in the $9.5 billion formation of Talen Energy Corporation, one of the largest independent power producers in the U.S., through a Reverse Morris Trust spin-off of PPL Corporation’s merchant power generation business and the concurrent combination thereof with Riverstone’s merchant power generation business and associated debt financings
- Sunoco Logistics Partners LP in its $20 billion merger with Energy Transfer Partners in a unit-for-unit transaction
- Energy Transfer Partners in its $3.75 billion exchange with Energy Transfer Equity of Sunoco Logistics Partners’ general partner interest and incentive distribution rights and its interests in the Bakken pipeline project
- Energy Transfer Partners in the $1.8 billion acquisition of Susser Holdings Corporation, the owner of retail convenience stores and a wholesale fuel distributor, in a unit and cash transaction
- KLR Energy Acquisition Corp. in the $445 million combination with Tema Oil and Gas Company to form Rosehill Resources in a SPAC business combination
- Enviva Wilmington Holdings in its $175 million sale of Enviva Pellets Sampson to Enviva Partners
- Enviva Wilmington Holdings in the $130 million sale of Enviva Port of Wilmington, owner of a deep-water marine terminal, to Enviva Partners
- New York Mortgage Trust in the approximately $24 million acquisition of the remaining 80 percent membership interests in RiverBanc, an investment management firm that manages over $400 million of direct and indirect investments in multifamily apartment properties
- Tyr Energy in the acquisition of 100 percent of the equity interest in Hickory Run Energy for development of a highly efficient natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant with an electric generating capacity of up to 1,000 MW
- Quantum Utility Generation in its acquisition of gas-fired power generation development projects in Texas
- Shelf Subsea Services, an SCF Partners portfolio company, in the $17 million acquisition of the Australian and Asian assets of Cal Dive International; distressed acquisition after Cal Dive parent in US sought chapter 11 protection
- Wayzata Investment Partners in the sale by Castleton Energy Center, a Wayzata portfolio company, of its 72 megawatt natural gas- and oil-fired electric generating facility in Castleton-on-Hudson, New York to Fortistar
