PLC Which lawyer? is a guide to the law and lawyers in over 80 jurisdictions worldwide. This survey serves to identify the leading firms and lawyers in core practice areas of commercial law.
In order to compile the information, general counsel in the world's top 5000 companies were asked for information on the law firms they use for outside counsel. Leading private practitioners were also consulted and asked to rank firms as "leading," "highly recommended," or "recommended." This research was conducted using in person and telephone interviews, questionnaires and written responses. The Global 50 includes firms that score the most points based on the research conducted and the recommendations received.
