New York Legal Awards 2022

The New York Law Journal honored Kirkland & Ellis with two awards as part of the 2022 New York Legal Awards. Partners Atif Khawaja and Christine Okike were jointly recognized among the “Best Diversity Initiative” winners, and Pro Bono Counsel Jacqueline Haberfeld was named an “Innovative Individual.”

The Awards honor those who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession in New York – whether in shaping the law, achieving outsized results for their clients, being an outstanding jurist or assisting those in need of legal services.
