PE Hub Deals of the Year 2023

PE Hub recognized Kirkland & Ellis as part of its 2023 “Deals of the Year” awards. The Firm was recognized as part of the “Mid-Market Deal of the Year” for its efforts in advising private equity firm Vestar Capital Partners and portfolio company Edward Don & Company (DON) on the sale of the foodservice equipment and supplies distributor to Sysco Corporation (NYSE:SYY). Kirkland was also recognized as part of the “Small Market Deals of the Year” for representing Vesey Street Capital Partners (VSCP), a private equity firm specializing in buyouts of lower middle-market healthcare services businesses, on the full sale of its portfolio company QualityMetric (QM).

PE Hub’s annual “Deals of the Year” winners are determined via a multitude of factors, including multiples on invested capital, internal rates of return, EBITDA, employee retention and expansion, portfolio company growth and organic growth of companies.
