Three Kirkland Partners Named Among Utah Business’ Legal Elite 2024
Utah Business recognized Kirkland & Ellis partners Devin Anderson, Amber Harezlak and Travis Nelson among its 2024 “Legal Elite,” which honors 100 leading lawyers in Utah who have made significant contributions in their respective legal fields.
Devin was noted by Utah Business as someone who is “not only passionate about the law but also passionate about giving back to the community and the development of Utah’s future legal talents,” and Amber was lauded as someone who “fulfills her passion for creating opportunities for women as future leaders in their practice groups, the firm, the legal profession and our community.” Travis, meanwhile, was recognized as someone who “fine-tunes all aspects of his practice to provide the highest quality legal service and deliver extraordinary results to his clients.”
Devin’s practice focuses on trial and appellate litigation, and he has briefed and argued cases in trial and appellate courts across the country on a wide array of issues.
Amber works closely with Kirkland’s M&A practice on technology, intellectual property, cybersecurity and data privacy aspects of complex corporate transactions.
Travis focuses primarily on complex business transactions, including leveraged acquisitions of private and public companies, strategic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, venture capital and PIPE investments, debt and equity restructurings and recapitalizations, and the formation of private equity funds.
