Kirkland Recognized Among Daily Journal’s 2024 Top Verdicts in California

The Daily Journal named Kirkland to its annual list of “Top Verdicts in California,” which covers everything from high-profile intellectual property matters to personal injury cases.

The Firm was recognized for winning dismissal of a securities class action for public clothing company Torrid, along with various Sycamore Partners entities and several Torrid officers and directors. Kirkland litigators Austin Norris, Mark Holscher, Edward Hillenbrand, Nathaniel Haas, Savannah Jensen, Danny Brown and Mikaal Shoaib were recognized by the publication for their efforts in the case, which provides precedent for similar securities class actions.

Kirkland was also noted for securing dismissal for Keurig Dr. Pepper Inc. in a lawsuit brought by Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling. Kirkland litigators Mark Holscher and Kristin Rose were recognized for their role in defeating the billion-dollar damages claim and changing the trajectory of the case, which is still ongoing.
