Kirkland & Ellis Takes Legal Work to SW D.C.

Kirkland and the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia have partnered to significantly expand access to justice for the poor in Southwest Washington, D.C. Kirkland has pledged $125,000 per year for a minimum of five years to DC Legal Aid, which will take over the management and operation of the Jeremiah's Circle of Friends legal clinic, a pro bono legal clinic founded by litigation of counsel Thomas Gottschalk and partner Jennifer Levy in 2010.
