Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout-Outs

Partners Josh Greenblatt, Robyn Bladow and Mary Reale and associate Matthew Zhu received a shout out for The American Lawyer's "Litigator of the Week" for their work for Altamont Capital Partners, Altamont's former portfolio company Sequel Youth and Sequel board members.

"... Shout-out to a team at Kirkland & Ellis that fended off a shareholder suit in Delaware Chancery Court against its clients Altamont Capital Partners, Altamont’s former portfolio company Sequel Youth and Sequel board members. Vice Chancellor Paul A. Fioravanti Jr. this week granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss finding the plaintiffs had a right under the Delaware Limited Liability Company Act to receive copies of Sequel’s audited financial statements upon request, but they “made no such request.” Kirkland’s Josh Greenblatt argued the motion. The Kirkland team also included Robyn Bladow, Mary Reale and Matthew Zhu."
