Kirkland & Ellis Advised Shamrock Capital Advisors in Acquisition of Recorded Books Holdings

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Shamrock Capital Advisors, LLC, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm specializing in the media, entertainment and communications sectors, on the acquisition of Recorded Books Holdings Inc., which closed on July 31, 2015.  Recorded Books is the largest independent publisher of audiobooks and provider of digital media to consumer, retail, professional, school, library and infotainment markets in the United States, with additional operations based in the United Kingdom and Australia.
