Kirkland & Ellis represented Wafra Inc., an investment firm established to build long-term prosperity for asset owners around the world, in its strategic investment in AE Industrial Partners, LP (AEI), a private equity firm specializing in Aerospace, Defense & Government Services, Power Generation, and Specialty Industrial markets. Under the terms of the transaction, Wafra has acquired a passive minority interest in AEI.
