Kirkland Counsels KKR on Investment With NextEra in Renewable Energy Portfolio
Kirkland & Ellis advised KKR on its definitive agreements with NextEra Energy Resources (NYSE: NEE) and NextEra Energy Partners, LP (NYSE: NEP) to acquire a significant interest in an approximately 1,625 net megawatt portfolio of 12 distinct contracted utility-scale wind and solar assets in geographically diverse locations throughout the United States.
