Kirkland Advises Vortus Investment Advisors in Partnership with Stateline Operating to Develop Assets in Delaware Basin
Kirkland & Ellis advised Vortus Investment Advisors LLC, a private equity firm focused on lower to middle market upstream investments across North America, in its new partnership with Stateline Operating LLC, a newly formed operating and development joint venture between Vortus and Flat Creek Resources. Stateline will be managed by Flat Creek with an initial focus on the development of existing oil-rich assets in Eddy County, New Mexico in the Delaware Basin.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Thomas Laughlin and Shubi Arora, and associates Josh Teahen, Danny Nappier and Jack Dougherty, and tax partner Lane Morgan.
