Kirkland Advises Oak View Group on Merger with Spectra
Kirkland & Ellis advised Oak View Group (OVG), a global venue development, advisory and investment company for the sports and live entertainment industries, on its definitive agreement to merge with Spectra, one of the industry's leading venue management and hospitality providers. The merger will creative a full-service live events company, combining OVG’s core competencies in arena development and corporate sponsorships with Spectra's experience in food and beverage services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Christopher Wu and Evan Roberts and associates Peter Liskanich, Spencer Brass and Christian Segar, tax partner Anne Kim, and antitrust partner Katherine Rocco.
