Kirkland Advises THL on $66 Million Series C Funding for RightHand Robotics
Kirkland & Ellis advised Thomas H. Lee Partners L.P. (THL) on a $66 million Series C financing for RightHand Robotics, a leader in data-driven, autonomous robotic picking solutions for order fulfillment. The funding round was led by THL, Safar Partners, a technology venture fund, and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, which is part of the SoftBank Group. Zebra Technologies, Epson and Global Brain also joined this round, along with previous investors GV, F-Prime Capital, Menlo Ventures, Matrix Partners and Tony Fadell’s Future Shape.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate associates Ziyad Ziyadzade and Lisa Gunter, with support from corporate partner Ted Frankel.
