Kirkland Represents Vector Capital on Acquisition of Majority Interest in WatchGuard Technologies
Kirkland & Ellis advised Vector Capital on its acquisition of a majority interest in WatchGuard Technologies, a global leader in network security and intelligence, advanced endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication and secure Wi-Fi. As part of the transaction, Vector Capital agreed to make a new equity investment in the business, acquire interests previously owned by Francisco Partners and other co-investors and become the majority shareholder. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
