Kirkland Advises Thoma Bravo on Acquisition of Magnet Forensics Inc.
Kirkland represented Thoma Bravo in its definitive agreement to acquire Magnet Forensics Inc. (TSX:MAGT), a developer of digital investigation solutions for more than 4,000 enterprises and public safety organizations. The transaction values Magnet Forensics at CAD$1.8 billion. Following closing, Thoma Bravo intends to combine Magnet Forensics with Grayshift, a leading provider of mobile device digital forensics, and will operate the combined company as a privately held company. The transaction is expected to close by the second quarter of 2023.
