Kirkland Advises H.I.G. Capital on Sale of Buck to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
Kirkland & Ellis advised H.I.G. Capital, a leading global alternative investment firm, and its portfolio company, Buck, on the sale of Buck to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG). Buck is a leading provider of retirement plan consulting services with a growing presence in health and welfare consulting, employee communications and engagement consulting and technology-enabled benefits administration services. Buck’s more than 1,000 clients include large global corporations, mid-market and regional companies and governmental agencies throughout North America and Europe. The transaction closed on April 3, 2023.
