Kirkland Represents Cathay Life Insurance on Sale of LP Interests in 17 Infrastructure Funds

Kirkland & Ellis advised Cathay Life Insurance Co., Ltd., an Asian life insurance company, on the sale of limited partner interests in 17 infrastructure funds, with the total amount of the portfolio around $812 million.

The Kirkland team was led by investment funds partner Carol Liu. The team also included investment funds partner Damian Jacobs, registered foreign lawyers Mack Wan, Yeshu Yang and Liya Wu, associates Joanne Mak, Kahwing Fung, Dave Chan and Shirley Lim and transaction managers Xuefei Yu and Hazel Zhao; and tax partners Alec Campbell and Ian Ferreira and associates Ally Nelson, Callum McKinnon and Rhianna Voice.
