Kirkland Advises on Ares’ Acquisition of Crescent Point

Kirkland & Ellis is advising Crescent Point Capital on Ares Management Corporation’s (NYSE: ARES) acquisition of the Crescent Point Capital platform. Crescent Point Capital is a leading Asia-focused private equity firm with approximately $3.8 billion of assets under management as of March 31, 2023. Crescent Point Capital pursues a private equity strategy focused on investing in industry-leading consumer companies across Asia. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and it is expected to complete in the third quarter of 2023.
