Kirkland Represents Authentic Restaurant Brands on Acquisition of Fiesta Restaurant Group

Kirkland & Ellis counseled Authentic Restaurant Brands, a portfolio company of New York-based principal investment firm Garnett Station Partners, LLC, on its acquisition of Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRGI), parent company of the Pollo Tropical restaurant brand. Fiesta announced the all-cash transaction on August 7. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2023.
