Kirkland Represents AE Industrial Partners-Backed American Pacific Corporation on Acquisition by NewMarket Corporation
Kirkland & Ellis is advising AE Industrial Partners and its portfolio company American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC) on the sale of AMPAC Intermediate Holdings, LLC, the ultimate parent company of AMPAC, to NewMarket Corporation (NYSE: NEU), for approximately $700 million. The transaction, announced on December 4, 2023, is expected to close during Q1 2024, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of customary closing conditions.
