Kirkland Advises Metaswitch Networks in Sale to Microsoft Corporation

Kirkland & Ellis advised Metaswitch Networks, a leading provider of virtualized network software and voice, data and communications solutions for operators, in its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT). Metaswitch is a portfolio company of technology-focused private equity firm Francisco Partners. The transaction value is undisclosed.
