Kirkland Represents Francisco Partners and Capsule Technologies on Sale to Philips

Kirkland & Ellis advised Capsule Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of medical data technologies for hospitals and healthcare organizations, on its sale to Royal Philips for $635 million. Capsule Technologies is a portfolio company of Francisco Partners, a leading global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology and healthcare businesses. Founded in 1997, Capsule Technologies has grown to serve over 2,800 hospitals and healthcare organizations in 40 countries, impacting over 20 million patients annually.
