Kirkland Advises Silversmith Capital Partners on $60 Million Growth Investment in AppHub

Kirkland & Ellis advised Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, on its $60 million growth investment in AppHub. Based in New York and San Francisco, AppHub is a software platform for eCommerce merchants that brings together best-in-class software applications to drive merchant growth.

As part of the investment, Silversmith’s Sri Rao and Lyndsay Kerwin have joined AppHub’s Board of Directors along with Chris Hecht, Head of Corporate Development and Product Partnerships at Databricks, and Kris Eng and Arjun Batra, co-founders of AppHub. 

The Kirkland team was led by corporate partner Christian Atwood and associates Larissa Cespedes-Yaffar and Molly Boyd, employment & labor partner Sydney Jones and associate Kayla Davis, tax partner Lee Morlock and associate Paul Stephens Hendrickson, and executive compensation partner Kate Vera and associate Deidre Kalenderian.
