Kirkland Advises Thoma Bravo on $10.55 Billion Acquisition of Digital Aviation Assets from Boeing

Kirkland & Ellis advised software-focused investment firm Thoma Bravo on a definitive agreement to purchase $10.55 billion of digital aviation assets from aerospace company Boeing (NYSE: BA). The transaction includes portions of Boeing’s Digital Aviation Solutions business, including its Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData and OzRunways assets. The transaction was announced April 22, 2025 and is expected to close by the end of 2025 subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
